The truth is: at the end of every project, the real winner/champion is the client. We make sure that the final product is a full implementation of the client's (not ours) imagination and our only contribution being the icing the cake with technology.
Software services are particularly unique and unless you are looking to purchase an office tool (Microsoft Office, Libre Office etc), a design tool (Corel Draw, AutoCad etc) or an IDE (Netbeans, Eclipse etc), buying an off-the-shelf solution will not solve your problem. Furthermore, the uniqueness of individual software needs also makes it impossible for us to know the specifics of the problem which affects design, costing and technology. Unless expressly stated and agreed upon by both parties, Coquina will own all source codes, credits, intellectual properties and patents that result from all our software services. The final product will be delivered to the client under either of the following licensing agreements:
This licensing agreement is designed for SMEs and individuals that are not willing to put down a huge sum of money at once to pay for a software service. This affords them the opportunity to enjoy the service at a much less but periodic subscription fee.
The licensing agreement does not cover other non final software product activities like data migration, training, customization etc. Traditionally, Coquina will provide this service from our Cloud Servers and all future updates, module improvements and bug fixes will be provided by Coquina at no extra cost.
This licensing agreement is designed for organizations and individuals that are not particularly bothered by their huge expense and are willing to add software applications to their asset register. With this agreement, the client outrightly owns the finished software application and can deploy same at any datacenter or cloud infrastructure of his/her choosing.
All minor future updates and module improvements under this agreement are provided free of charge. Unfortunately, version upgrades under this agreement amounts to a purchase of a new product.
This licensing agreement is designed for organizations and individuals that are not particularly bothered by their huge expense but don't want to be left out of subsequent version upgrades. The client still enjoys the freedom of deploying the finished product to any datacenter or cloud infrastructure of his choosing but pays an annual licensing fee.
All major and minor updates, module improvements, bug fixes and version upgrades under this agreement are provided free of charge.
